One of Seven's trusty cameramen, dapper Trent Miller, as we head off for a red-carpet shoot.

Uncle Nelson, Merryn and Hobie

Uncle Nelson, Merryn and Hobie the Aussie Shepherd pup. Woof!

Wow, I'm only midway through my week and already I feel like I've run a marathon. And no, I don't mean from my new workouts with the dynamic Charlayne (2 pounds lost already and aching triceps and glutes!), but from covering all of the Paris Hilton drama. Not only did I manage to get a good sunburn while down at the Women's Detention Center where she is being housed, but I got to spend time with a veritable United Nations of media who were also assembled. I ran into so many old friends, it was almost like a class reunion. There's a lot of waiting around in between press conferences, updates and comings/goings, so it's a good opp to catch up with assorted friends and colleagues. A very interesting change of pace from being in the studio. I am also juggling a busy schedule of movie interviews for WEEKEND SUNRISE so you are sure to have plenty of exclusive, star studded celebrity chats for your Sunday morning viewing pleasure! Have cameraman, will travel!

Little Merryn's Aussie Shepherd pup, Hobart, is really growing up fast but he still has that adorable puppy look. Mel recently added a new dog to their family and there is just something about kids & puppies that makes you smile! I think maybe Brangelina should take a break from expanding the number of children in their brood and add a few rescue pups to the mix! Shiloh, Maddox, Pax and Zahara frolicking in the grass with an assortment of cute canines...now THAT's a photo opp!
