Melissa Doyle
Melissa has been a familiar face to viewers of the Seven Network since 1995, when she joined our Canberra Bureau as Political Correspondent.
She began her career in journalism after graduating from Charles Sturt University. She was offered a cadetship at WIN Television in Canberra. Just two years later, she moved to Prime Television as anchor of the station's 6PM News.
Mel now has two children - Nicholas and Talia Grace. They are her number one priority and well known to members of the Sunrise Family - who affectionately dubbed Talia Grace "Noodles".
Mel has become one of Seven's most popular faces - co-hosting landmark specials such as TV Turns 50 and Reach Out to Asia.
