Simon Reeve
Simon Reeve is perhaps best known for his reporting role on Beyond 2000. He spent more than seven years travelling the world, covering scientific break-throughs and technical innovations.
Simon commenced his career at the Seven Network in Perth back in 1979, working as both a sports producer and reporter. In 1982, he moved to London to take up a position with Vis News.
Before long, homesickness saw him return to Perth to join the current affairs program State Affair. His work gained him national acclaim and an offer to join the prestigious Beyond 2000 team in 1987.
After Beyond, Simon's passion for Africa inspired him and his family to spend three years in Botswana.
He returned to Australia in 2001 to re-join the Seven Network, working for both Seven News and now Weekend Sunrise as Sport Presenter.
